Plastic eyeglass frame suppliers can quote very different products under the same broad label. A TR90 optical frame, an injection-moulded cellulose propionate frame and a mixed-material frame are not interchangeable simply because each contains plastic.

This guide compares ten suppliers with publicly documented plastic optical-frame options and a route for business buyers to enquire or order. It focuses on TR90 and other injection-frame offers, rather than repeating our separate acetate frame supplier comparison.

Editorial disclosure: Titanium Frames manufactures and supplies eyeglass frames. The companies below are listed alphabetically, not ranked from best to worst. We used their official public pages; we have not purchased from them, tested their products, inspected their operations or verified live inventory. Inclusion does not imply endorsement or a business relationship.

What Counts as a Plastic Frame in This Guide?

“Plastic” is a starting category, not a material specification. Here it covers suppliers documenting TR90, injection-moulded cellulose propionate (CP), or another explicitly named moulded-plastic optical-frame offer. It does not mean that every model from a listed company uses the same resin or production route.

Acetate is also a plastic, but buyers commonly source sheet-acetate frames through a different product discussion. Our acetate supplier guide covers that route. If your brief merely says “plastic,” ask each supplier to name the resin and identify which components use it.

For the material question behind a TR90 listing, see what TR90 means in glasses frames. The label alone does not identify the resin grade or every component of the quoted model.

For the shortlist, we looked for:

  • An official product, collection or category page showing a relevant optical frame.
  • A named plastic material or injection-frame construction on that page.
  • A visible wholesale, professional ordering or business enquiry route.

A general claim that a company “works with plastic” was not enough on its own. We did not score prices, factory size, certifications, customer reviews or claimed sales volume.

Ten Plastic Frame Suppliers to Consider

Each profile separates what the supplier publishes from questions a buyer still needs to resolve. Similar-looking frames can have different materials, components and purchasing terms.

Ajaoptical

Ajaoptical’s official wholesale eyewear page lists TR90 alongside acetate, metal and titanium optical frames. It presents bulk purchasing for retailers, wholesalers and distributors, with a quotation route and separate OEM/ODM information.

The wholesale page confirms a TR90 offer, but not the material of every optical frame in the catalogue. Ask for a current TR90 model list and the specification sheet for each shortlisted style. Confirm whether a proposed logo, colour or temple change can be made on an existing model or requires a different production route.

For a mixed assortment, request quantities by model and colour. Avoid applying a general wholesale minimum or timing statement to a model that has not been selected.

Broad Optical

Broad Optical official TR optical frames page showing a frame and quotation links
Source: Broad Optical official website. Captured 23 September 2026.

Broad Optical’s TR optical-frame page identifies a standard TR90 range and describes both ready-stock and custom enquiry routes. It distinguishes its standard range from another marketed material option.

That distinction makes material identification the first useful comparison. Request the resin designation for the quoted model, rather than treating “TR” as a complete specification. If the front and temples are made differently, record both components separately.

Ask whether the styles shown are currently in stock, what the sample represents and whether a colour or construction change moves the order into custom production. Broad’s broader material and environmental claims should be checked against documents for the exact item; a collection description is not proof of a particular frame’s composition or environmental performance.

Conchen Eyewear

Conchen Eyewear identifies TR90 optical frames as a separate category on its official eyeglasses page. The same page offers catalogue requests and describes OEM and private-label purchasing for eyewear businesses.

A named material category is useful, but the buyer still needs a model-level brief. Ask for the available TR90 frame references, sizes and colours. If the selected design combines TR90 with acetate or another material, request a component-by-component description rather than calling the whole frame TR90.

Separate three enquiries: an existing frame as shown, an existing frame with branding, and a new shape or structure. Each can involve a different sample, minimum quantity and approval process. Do not assume a service described for the overall catalogue applies unchanged to every TR90 model.

Dachuan Optical

Dachuan Optical official TR90 catalogue with optical-frame categories and product listings
Source: Dachuan Optical official website. Captured 23 September 2026.

Dachuan Optical’s official TR90 optical-frame catalogue displays wholesale-oriented product listings, including frames labelled TR90 plus metal. It provides product enquiries and OEM/ODM information.

The mixed-material labels are the reason to compare components, not just category names. If a listed front is TR90 and the temples are metal, the quotation should say so. Ask the supplier to confirm the construction of each selected style, its current specification and whether the public listing still represents an available order.

Some catalogue cards publish quantities and prices. Treat those as page-level information to reconfirm, not as terms for all Dachuan products. For a private-label project, clarify whether branding applies to the frame, demo lens or packaging and obtain approval on the actual configuration.

JHEYEWEAR

JHEYEWEAR publishes a TR90 optical-frame product page with a model reference and wholesale, ready-stock and OEM/ODM routes. It also lists logo, colour and packaging options.

The page contains more than one size and minimum-order description, so resolve that inconsistency before using it as a purchase specification. Quote the model number in your enquiry and ask for the current size, colour assortment, stock position and minimum for the exact order type. Do not copy a number from one part of the page into a purchase order without confirmation.

If you are changing the frame rather than only adding a logo, request a separate development quotation and an approval sample. The supplier’s general certification statements also need product- and market-specific documentation when compliance matters.

Jiayu Optical

Jiayu Optical official JYM2213 injection-frame product page

Jiayu Optical presents optical model JYM2213 as an injection-frame offer with OEM/ODM enquiry options. The product page identifies the frame material as “PC/TR90” and provides a model number, rather than only a generic plastics category.

“PC/TR90” is not enough to identify the material of each component. Ask whether the designation means an alternative resin choice, a blend, or different materials in the front and temples. Request the current product drawing or specification before comparing it with a supplier quoting a defined TR90 frame.

The page also publishes model-specific order terms. Confirm which quantity applies to an existing colour, a new colour or a changed design. A technical answer about material is more useful here than a broad claim about flexibility or comfort.

OpticiansClub

OpticiansClub’s China-warehouse page identifies AOMAI TR90 and SUOFEIA TR90 collections for optical retailers. It presents ready-stock wholesale and selected private-label options. This is a distribution and ordering route; the site should not be treated as proof that OpticiansClub manufactures the frames itself.

The useful comparison is stock assortment versus custom production. Start with the exact collection and model you want, then check live availability, colour selection and replenishment conditions. For branding, the site distinguishes logo application on the frame and demo lens from demo-lens-only branding on eligible collections.

Tell the supplier where your logo needs to appear. Do not assume that a collection’s private-label eligibility includes a change to frame geometry, resin or hinge construction.

Ouyuan Optical

Ouyuan Optical official OY82005 TR90 optical-frame product page

Ouyuan Optical’s model OY82005 page identifies a TR90 optical frame, supplies dimensions and invites quotation enquiries. The site also links to a broader TR optical-frame group.

A model-specific listing lets buyers ask a more precise question than “Do you have plastic frames?” Refer to OY82005 and request the current colour range, sample specification and order terms. The page mentions both stock and made-to-order quantities; confirm which route and colour mix applies before comparing a quotation.

If the frame is intended for a particular prescription or lens-fitting workflow, ask your dispensing or laboratory partner to assess the actual sample. A product photo and a general sport-frame description do not establish lens suitability for every prescription.

Sunoptic

Sunoptic lists model CP132 under injection frames and explicitly identifies its material as cellulose propionate. The page provides model dimensions and a professional “log in and order” route. Sunoptic’s injection-frame catalogue describes a wider CP range and private-label possibilities.

Cellulose propionate is not a synonym for TR90 or sheet acetate. Compare it as a separately specified frame material and request the current catalogue and model terms. Confirm whether CP132 or another model is available in the needed colour and quantity.

The professional ordering route differs from an OEM development enquiry. If your project needs a logo or structural change, ask which service is actually available for the selected CP model and whether it requires a separate sample approval.

Trudren Optics

Source: Trudren Optics official website. Captured 23 September 2026.

Trudren Optics publishes TR90 optical SKU 2204E with frame material, dimensions and a wholesale/branding route. The page identifies spring hinges for this particular model.

A SKU-specific page is a useful starting point, but displayed stock, price and customisation details can change. Ask which colours are currently available, what sample will be supplied and whether the branding work affects the minimum or delivery schedule. Record the approved hinge and temple configuration if those details matter to your assortment.

If you need a new front shape or different temple, request a separate OEM evaluation. Do not apply this model’s dimensions or component description to another TR90 frame in the supplier’s catalogue.

How to Compare Plastic-Frame Materials Without Guessing

The same visual style can be made with different resins or mixed construction. In this shortlist, suppliers name TR90, cellulose propionate and PC/TR90, among other descriptions. The material named on a category page should not be assigned to every product beneath it.

For each shortlisted model, request:

  1. The resin or material designation for the front and temples.
  2. A drawing or size specification for the exact model and colour.
  3. The hinge, core-wire, nose-pad and temple-tip construction, where applicable.
  4. The approved sample and any agreed material or colour reference.
  5. Product-specific test or compliance documents required for the destination market.

The resin maker’s Grilamid TR technical literature describes material grades, not the composition or performance of any supplier’s finished frame. A claimed “TR90” model still needs its own specification. We do not infer resin grade, impact performance, skin-contact properties or legal compliance from a photograph.

Distinguish stock, branding and a new mould

A ready-stock frame with no changes, the same frame with a logo, and a new injection-moulded shape are three different purchasing routes. Ask for a separate quotation when the work changes the tooling, material specification or components. If tooling is needed, put ownership, maintenance, storage and later access in writing before paying for it.

Check the complete frame, not only the front

A plastic front can be paired with metal temples, a wire core or other components. Request a parts description when material claims matter. The answer may affect branding placement, repair parts and how you approve a repeat order; it is not something to infer from an angled image.

Confirm the lens-fitting route

Ask the intended optical laboratory to review a representative sample and the required lens type. The supplier’s general “prescription-ready” or “cold glazing” label should be checked against the exact frame and dispensing requirements. Do not promise prescription compatibility across a whole material category.

A Practical Wholesale Enquiry for Plastic Optical Frames

A useful first enquiry can be short, provided it identifies the model and what needs confirmation. Send the same core brief to each supplier so quotations can be compared on scope:

  • Model numbers or reference photos, including the intended optical use.
  • Target material, if known; otherwise ask the supplier to identify it.
  • Quantities by model and colour.
  • Required dimensions and target market.
  • Logo location, packaging and other private-label changes.
  • Sample, spare-part and repeat-order requirements.
  • Any destination-market documents your buyer or distributor needs.

Then compare offers in this order:

  1. Product definition: Which exact model, material and construction are being quoted?
  2. Ordering route: Is it stock, existing-style branding or new tooling?
  3. Approval: What sample and colour reference will be signed off?
  4. Commercial scope: Which minimums, preparation work and packaging are included?
  5. Continuity: What happens if a colour, component or model changes on repeat order?

Our quotation comparison guide covers the broader cost and schedule questions. The eyewear MOQ guide explains why a minimum should be confirmed per order route, model and colour rather than copied from a headline.

Frequently Asked Questions

These answers identify what can be learned from public listings and what still needs model-level confirmation.

Are acetate frames plastic frames?

Yes. “Plastic” is a broad description. This article concentrates on TR90 and other injection-frame offers to avoid duplicating our acetate supplier list. State the material you actually require when requesting prices.

Are all TR90 frames made from the same resin grade?

Do not assume that from a retail or catalogue label. Request the material specification for the exact model and ask whether a published resin-maker document applies to that finished frame. Suppliers may also combine a TR90 front with other materials.

Can a supplier add my logo to an existing plastic frame?

Several suppliers listed here advertise private-label options, but availability depends on the model, location, method and quantity. Specify whether the logo must be on the temple, demo lens or packaging and request a sample or proof for approval.

Do plastic optical-frame suppliers all have the same MOQ?

No. Stock, branded stock and new-mould work can have different minimums. Ask whether the stated quantity is per model, per colour, per order or per tooling project. Reconfirm current terms in writing.

Does a TR90 listing prove a frame is suitable for every prescription?

No. Lens fitting depends on the actual frame construction and the lens and dispensing requirements. Have the intended laboratory review a representative sample; do not infer universal suitability from a material name.

Build a Shortlist Around a Defined Frame

The most useful comparison is not which supplier makes the strongest marketing claim; it is which offer matches your exact frame and order route. Choose a few documented models, request current specifications, approve samples and compare written terms.

Titanium Frames’ currently published product categories are titanium, metal and acetate. This supplier guide does not represent a published TR90 product line from us. If your project also includes one of our documented frame categories, review our custom eyewear process or contact us with your brief.
